Privacy Policy
Last updated: August 7, 2026
This policy explains what information Chicago Water Filtration collects when you contact us or submit a form on this website or through an advertisement, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Information we collect
We collect only what you give us. Depending on how you reach us, that may include:
- Your name, phone number, and email address
- Your street address or ZIP code, which we use to look up your municipality's published water quality data and to confirm you are in our service area
- Whether you own or rent your home, and what water problems you are experiencing
- Records of our communications with you, including text messages, emails, and notes from calls
If you submit a lead form through a social media platform such as Facebook or Instagram, that platform provides us the information you chose to share on the form. Their handling of your data is governed by their own privacy policy, not this one.
Our website does not require an account and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
How we use it
- To prepare and send the water report you requested
- To contact you by phone, text, or email about your request and to schedule a consultation or installation
- To provide a quote and, if you become a customer, to schedule and complete the work
- To follow up about your request, and occasionally about service reminders or offers
We do not sell your personal information. We do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.
Text messages
If you give us your phone number, we may text you about your request. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any message to opt out of further texts, or HELP for assistance. Opting out of marketing texts does not stop transactional messages about work already scheduled.
Who we share information with
We share your information only with parties who help us deliver the service, and only as needed:
- The licensed plumbing contractor assigned to your installation
- Service providers that run our phone, messaging, email, scheduling, and payment systems
- Anyone we are legally required to disclose to, such as in response to lawful process
Advertising and analytics
We advertise on Meta platforms (Facebook and Instagram). If we install advertising or analytics tools on this site, they may set cookies or similar identifiers to measure ad performance and to show you relevant ads. You can control ad personalization in your Facebook and Instagram ad settings, and you can block or delete cookies in your browser.
How long we keep it
We keep inquiry records for as long as needed to respond and for a reasonable period afterward. Customer records are kept as long as necessary to support warranty and service obligations and to meet tax and legal requirements. You may ask us to delete your information at any time.
Your choices
- Ask us what information we hold about you
- Ask us to correct or delete it
- Opt out of marketing texts (reply STOP) or emails (use the unsubscribe link)
To make any of these requests, email us at the address below.
Security
We take reasonable measures to protect the information you give us. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Changes
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page.
